Thank you, Mr. President. This decision wasn’t easy, but it was the right one. It’s not fair that your service ends this way. Your administration has created new job growth nearly every month for four years. You’ve represented America with dignity. I can relate to politics that isn’t always “fair,” but the stakes are incredibly high this time. Thank you for your decades of service.
For my fellow Democrats, I think we should have a knock-down, drag-out convention. Let those who are interested submit themselves for consideration. May the best person win. It would be both ugly & fascinating. But it would also be good for democracy. We would do well to not automatically anoint a new leader. Since we didn’t get a primary, allow candidates to show why they should be our next leader. There hasn’t been a truly contested primary in decades. But I think a “throwback” is exactly what we need to gin enthusiasm and demonstrate what living, breathing democracy looks like. To save our nation’s future, we need to show folks how the democratic process can really work.

Hi Scott, I am planning to vote today and don’t know the judges at all. I’m spoiled because I live across the street from Carol Keys and she always helped me with these kind of recommendations. Now she is gone. I just don’t want to vote for any one who takes bribes. Do you have any recommendations.
