In July 2023, the city approved funds to re-do the roofs at the main “community center” and two open-air pavillions at Enchanted Forest. Work started first on the community center, which is mostly used for youth camps and daycare. As work progressed, unforeseen damage was found and more trusses need to be replaced. So in February 2024, the city council approved another $58,000 to finish the project.

As soon as work is finished on the community center, work will begin on the pavillions. Weather permitting, staff hopes to have everything finished by Summer 2024.
